Delaware State Police looking for man who robbed Wilmington bank

WILMINGTON, Delaware — Delaware State Police are investigating a bank robbery in Wilmington.

The Delaware State Police says the robbery happened Friday around 1:15 p.m. when a male suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 814 Philadelphia Pike in Wilmington. State police says the suspect approached a female teller and presented her with a note demanding cash. The teller turned over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect fled.

State Police say the suspect is described as a white male between 5 feet 9 inches tall and 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 150 to 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green jacket and jeans.

State Police say no one was injured as a result of the robbery.
