GRAND ISLE, Vermont — Young anglers and their families are being invited to the Ed Weed Fish Culture Station in Grand Isle where they can catch trout while receiving free instruction.

The 15th annual Grand Isle Family Fishing Festival is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Saturday is also Vermont's spring free fishing day.

The event at the hatchery is designed to encourage kids and families to get involved in fishing.
