Vermont man dies after motorcycle goes off Williamstown road, into woods

WILLIAMSTOWN, Vermont — Vermont State Police say a 52-year-old Williamstown man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle while negotiating a curve in the road and the bike went off the road and into some woods.

The accident happened about 4:20 p.m. Saturday on Chelsea Road in Williamstown. The man's name was not released, pending notification of his family.

Police say a motorist found the man and his motorcycle on the side of the road and police were called to the scene. They say the man was dead when they arrived.
