FARMERVILLE, La. — A 37-year-old Farmerville man has died from injuries sustained when the ATV he was riding struck a tree on La. Highway 348 in Union Parish.
The single-vehicle crash happened about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday.
State police say the ATV driver, Alphonso D. Henderson, was taken to a local hospital where he later died. Troopers do not believe Henderson was wearing a helmet.
The crash remains under investigation.
