DAYTON, Ohio — Marcus Keene scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Youngstown State fended off Wright State for a 74-69 win Sunday.

The Raiders chased Youngstown State throughout the second half and finally wrested the lead from the Penguins on Grant Benzinger's layup with 2:13 left to play. But Shawn Amiker answered with two free throws to make it 70-69 and tacked on a jumper with :39 left for a 72-69 Youngstown State advantage.

Benzinger missed a jumper that would have given Wright State the lead and a 3-point attempt to tie and Shaun Stewart converted two free throws with :14 left for the final margin.

Bobby Hain had 14 points and Amiker finished with 13 for the Penguins (11-17, 2-11 Horizon). Youngstown State shot 29 of 51 from the floor (56.9 percent)

Benzinger finished with 22 points to lead Wright State and Michael Karena added 14 points.
