HUGO, Colorado — The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a 75-year-old man who was last seen Friday.

Capt. Clint Tweden says Gene Ostrander, of Arriba, was reported missing Sunday. He was last seen wearing blue jeans with a shiny belt buckle and a Marine Corps baseball cap. Authorities also say his beard may be dyed brown.

He does not have access to a vehicle and is showing signs of dementia.

The sheriff's office hired two private planes to search the area between Genoa and Flagler in eastern Colorado on Tuesday.
