AMSTERDAM — Ajax beat ADO The Hague 4-0 Sunday to keep up its perfect start to the Eredivisie season and move three points clear at the top of the Dutch top flight.
Feyenoord, the only other team with a perfect record going into the weekend, lost 3-1 at defending champion PSV Eindhoven to slip to third place, behind Heracles Almelo on goal difference.
Winger Anwar El Ghazi scored Ajax's first and last goals. Midfielder Davy Klaassen and defender Joel Veltman also scored for Ajax.
In Eindhoven, Feyenoord took an early lead through a Jeffrey Bruma own goal, but Maxime Lestienne equalized in the 37th minute. Five minutes after the break Santiago Arias gave PSV the lead and Juergen Locadia completed the scoring when he converted an 81st-minute penalty.
