Bradley basketball player Jones arrested on misdemeanor charges at Peoria strip club

PEORIA, Illinois — Bradley basketball player Warren Jones has been arrested at a strip club on misdemeanor charges of obstruction of identification and criminal trespass.

The (Peoria) Journal Star ( http://bit.ly/1zFqc7H ) reports that the 20-year-old Jones was arrested at Big Al's early Thursday and booked into the Peoria County Jail. The jail reports that he was released a few hours later after posting $160. Fellow team member Ka'Darryl Bell was issued a citation.

Coach Geno Ford called the students' actions "unacceptable." He said the school will follow disciplinary procedures but did not elaborate.

Jones is the team's leading scorer, averaging 13.9 points a game. Bradley (7-15, 2-7 Missouri Valley) next plays at Indiana State on Saturday.
