INDIANAPOLIS — Dense fog has settled in again over parts of central and southern Indiana, with the National Weather Service saying visibility could be less than a quarter mile in places.
The fog prompted numerous school districts to announce two-hour delays in the start of school Wednesday. Many districts in eastern Indiana had fog delays on Tuesday.
The weather service says Wednesday's fog is expected to clear by late morning, but forecasters are warning of possible sleet and snowfall across the southern half of the state starting Thursday evening.
