LARAMIE, Wyoming — Larry Nance Jr.'s steal and ensuing dunk with 3 seconds left put Wyoming over New Mexico 63-62 in overtime on Saturday.

Nance and Josh Adams combined for all 16 of Wyoming's final points. Adams was fouled shooting a 3-pointer in regulation and converted three free throws to tie it at 54 with nine seconds left. Hugh Greenwood missed a jumper on the other end to send the game into overtime.

The Lobos held a five-point lead after Devon Williams' 3-pointer but didn't score in the final 1:13 of OT. Adams hit a 3, Nance went 1 of 2 at the line, and a Lobos turnover with 8 seconds left led to the game-winning dunk.

Nance finished with 23 points and Adams had 20 for the Cowboys (17-3, 6-1 Mountain West).

Greenwood scored 23 points for New Mexico (13-7, 5-3), including five 3-pointers.
