SOUTH BEND, Indiana — A Michigan man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for a hit-and-run crash that killed a Chicago man who had just left a Notre Dame football game.
A St. Joseph County judge sentenced Mark Madejek of Edwardsburg, Michigan, on Wednesday.
The 38-year-old had pleaded guilty to a felony count of leaving the scene of an accident, causing death, and a misdemeanor count of driving while suspended.
