Lions claim DB DeQuan Menzie off waivers from Chiefs after he missed rookie season with injury

ALLEN PARK, Michigan — The Detroit Lions have claimed defensive back DeQuan Menzie off waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Lions confirmed the move on Wednesday.

Kansas City drafted Menzie last year in the fifth round and he didn't play as a rookie because of a hip injury. He started 20 of 25 games over two seasons at Alabama.
