WEST WINDSOR, New Jersey — Authorities say workers clearing snow from some walkways uncovered a body in a wooded area of central New Jersey.

West Windsor police tell The Times of Trenton (http://bit.ly/1C8VF2g) that the body was found around 10:30 a.m. Monday. The death is under investigation, but authorities say so far there are no signs that foul play was involved.

The name of the deceased person has not been disclosed. The person was identified only as a 49-year-old southern Jersey resident.

It's still not clear if the person died at the site or how long the body may have been there.

The death is being investigated by West Windsor police and the Mercer County Homicide Task Force.
