ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Alaska State Troopers say one person died and three others were injured in a three-vehicle crash on the Glenn Highway.

Anchorage television station KTUU (http://is.gd/d17GQv) reports one of the vehicles involved in the Thursday evening crash was a Department of Public Safety van.

The driver of another vehicle involved, an RV, was declared dead at the scene.

Two RV passengers were transported to hospitals, and so were the drivers of the two other vehicles.

Troopers say the crash occurred between the two Knik River bridges near milepost 31 when a southbound vehicle crossed the median onto oncoming traffic and struck the RV and the public safety vehicle.
