Walkup, Floyd combine for 39 points; Stephen F. Austin dominates Central Arkansas 109-58

CONWAY, Arkansas — Thomas Walkup and Demetrious Floyd combined for 39 points to lead Stephen F. Austin to a 109-58 victory over winless Central Arkansas on Tuesday night.

Walkup finished with 20 points in 21 minutes of action and Floyd had 19 in 22 minutes. Jacob Parker had 15 and Ty Charles chipped in 10 for Stephen F. Austin (13-3, 3-0 Southland Conference).

The Lumberjacks lead the nation in consecutive conference wins (25) and 12 straight overall for the season, which ranks third in the NCAA.

SFA never trailed, was up 58-30 at the break and led 75-36 with 13:03 remaining in the game. SFA scored 62 points in the paint while limiting the Bears to 36. The Lumberjacks also picked up 47 points off turnovers and had 16 fast-break points.

Jordan Howard and Mike Martin had 16 points apiece to led Central Arkansas (0-15, 0-4). The Bears turned it over 32 times.
