PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu is out for Sunday's game against Kansas City due to a knee injury.

Polamalu did not practice all week after tweaking the knee in last week's victory over Atlanta. Polamalu missed two games earlier this season with a sprained left knee.

Cornerback Ike Taylor will miss a second straight game with injuries to his right shoulder and forearm. Will Allen will start in place of Polamalu, with Brice McCain filling in for Taylor.

Tight end Matt Spaeth is out with an elbow injury.

Wide receiver Donnie Avery, cornerback Marcus Cooper, running back Charcandrick West, center Eric Kush, quarterback Aaron Murray, offensive lineman Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and defensive lineman Nick Williams are inactive for the Chiefs.
