Bella Vista man turns in winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas — A Bella Vista man has claimed a $1 million Powerball prize.

Arkansas Lottery officials said Thursday that David Dahlqvist turned in the winning ticket that he bought for $2 at Casey's General Store in Bella Vista.

The winning ticket is from the Aug. 9 Powerball drawing.

Dahlqvist told lottery officials he plans to use the money to pay some bills and to save "for a rainy day.
