AMSTERDAM — PEC Zwolle ended PSV Eindhoven's perfect start to the season by winning 3-1 to go level on points with PSV at the top of the Eredivisie on Saturday.

Luuk de Jong gave PSV the lead with a 32nd-minute penalty but Jesper Drost levelled five minutes before halftime, and Joost Broerse — who gave away the penalty — made it 2-1 for Zwolle in the 64th with a curling free kick. Ben Rienstra completed the scoring in the 87th.

Netherlands winger Memphis Depay, the league top-scorer, limped off in Zwolle with an apparent groin injury after 15 minutes.

Defending champion Ajax struggled past last-place Heracles Almelo 2-1 in Amsterdam. Arek Milik, the Polish striker on loan from Bayer Leverkusen, struck in the first and last minutes of the first half before Wout Weghorst pulled back a late goal for the visitors.

In other matches, Heerenveen won 1-0 at AZ Alkmaar thanks to 19-year-old Daley Sinkgraven's first league goal, FC Twente got its first Eredivisie win of the season by beating Go Ahead Eagles 2-1, and Willem II Tilburg beat Feyenoord 2-1 in Rotterdam.
