Starksboro man accused of possessing 21,000 files of child pornography

STARKSBORO, Vermont — A Starksboro man is facing charges of possession of child pornography.

The Vermont attorney general's office says Jonathon Thorpe is accused having 21,000 computer files of suspected child pornography.

Thorpe has pleaded not guilty to five felony counts.

Authorities say they are continuing to examine his computer equipment.

If convicted, he faces a possible maximum of 25 years in prison.
