Obama welcomes soccer champs LA Galaxy to White House, speaks at law enforcement memorial

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama welcomes Major League Soccer champions the LA Galaxy to the White House on Tuesday. He'll also congratulate the team on its community service activities.

Earlier in the day, the president will speak at the National Peace Officers Memorial Service at the Capitol. It honors law enforcement officers who were killed in the line of duty last year.
