Victim suffers non-life threatening burns in 3-alarm fire at Fort Collins apartment complex


FORT COLLINS, Colorado — One person has been injured in a three-alarm fire at a Fort Collins apartment complex.

The Poudre Fire Authority says the fire was reported about 3 a.m. Saturday and residents had to be evacuated in freezing weather.

One person suffered non-life threatening burns and was taken to a hospital.

Two apartments were heavily damaged and six others had smoke and water damage.

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
