Police searching for 2 inmates who escaped from Blackburn Correctional Complex in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Kentucky — Police are searching for two inmates who escaped from a minimum security prison in Lexington.

The Lexington Herald-Leader (http://bit.ly/1khuL0z) cited a statement from Blackburn Correctional Complex in reporting that the inmates were confirmed missing Sunday evening. Authorities believe 23-year-old Cody Allison and 32-year-old Paul Nance walked away from the facility.

Both men were serving time on convictions out of Hopkins County.

Allison is described at 5-foot-7, 140 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was serving a 20-year sentence for convictions on burglary and other charges.

Nance is described at 5-foot-5, 150 pounds and bald with blue eyes. He was serving a 30-year sentence for convictions including receiving stolen property.
