CLEMSON, South Carolina — Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd is among five finalists for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.
Boyd is joined by Fresno State's Derek Carr, Northern Illinois' Jordan Lynch, Alabama's A.J. McCarron and Georgia's Aaron Murray. The award goes to the top college quarterback who's a senior or fourth-year junior on course to graduate with their class.
Boyd has thrown for 2,960 yards and 24 touchdowns this fall. He also leads the Atlantic Coast Conference in total offense and has rushed for eight TDs.
The seventh-ranked Tigers (9-1) face FCS opponent Citadel at Death Valley on Saturday.
