Fargo man gets 3 years in stabbing outside bar

FARGO, North Dakota — A 26-year-old Fargo man has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to stabbing another man outside a downtown bar last summer.

The Forum reports (http://bit.ly/16BO1xv) that Andrew Kyle Gregerson pleaded guilty Friday in Cass County District Court to one felony count of aggravated assault in the Aug. 26 attack.

The 23-year-old man stabbed in front of the Bismarck Tavern was able to walk to nearby Sanford Medical Center for treatment.

Cass County prosecutor Renata Selzer says Gregerson will be on four years of supervised probation after his release.

A felony drug paraphernalia possession charge against him was dismissed as part of the plea deal. A felony terrorizing charge from an unrelated incident was also dropped.
