EUFALA, Alabama — Officials say two brothers were shot and one has died following a dispute in Eufaula.

Multiple news outlets report police say officers responded to a shooting Sunday afternoon and found two victims with gunshot wounds in a truck. Authorities say 50-year-old Michael Marshall died of his injuries and his brother, 49-year-old Marvin Marshall, was hospitalized.

Police have identified the suspected shooter as 43-year-old Reginald Coley, who was arrested after a brief standoff with police.

Authorities say the Marshall brothers went to Coley's house to resolve a dispute. After being shot, the brothers fled in the pickup truck until Michael Marshall stopped the vehicle and collapsed.

Coley has been charged with murder and first-degree assault. It was not immediately clear if Coley has a lawyer. The investigation is ongoing.
