DEKALB, Illinois — Cameron Stingily ran for a pair of second-half touchdowns to help Northern Illinois move into a 1st-place tie in the West Division of the Mid-American Conference with a 27-24 win over Toledo on Tuesday night.

After Stingily's second touchdown run with 6:33 to play, Macon scored on a 3-yard run to pull Toledo (6-5, 5-1) within 3, but Northern Illinois recovered the ensuing onside kick to seal it.
