Penn State to be Rutgers' first Big 10 visitor; Knights also host Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana

PISCATAWAY, New Jersey — Penn State will be the opponent when Rutgers hosts its first football game as a member of the Big Ten next year.

The Big Ten announced its 2014 football schedule Thursday.

Rutgers hosts Penn State on September 13, the first time the teams will have met since 1995. The Scarlet Knights will also play Big Ten opponents Michigan, Wisconsin and Indiana at home. They will face Ohio State, Michigan State, Maryland and Nebraska on the road.

Home games against Tulane and Howard, a game at Navy and an August 30 game against an opponent to be determined complete the schedule.
