BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — Police say a pedestrian has died after being struck by three cars on a Birmingham parkway.

Al.com reports (http://bit.ly/1y9JLmR ) the pedestrian, whose name has not been released, was trying to cross Center Point Parkway North on Saturday night when three drivers struck the person.

Birmingham police Lt. Sean Edwards says officers are trying to locate one of the drivers who left the scene. He says the other two motorists stayed until police arrived.

Edwards said Sunday no charges have been filed in the fatal collisions, which closed several lanes of the parkway while police investigated Saturday night.
