Officials: Woman found dead following central Pa. house fire

MAHAFFEY, Pa. — A woman is dead following a house fire in a rural part of central Pennsylvania.

Firefighters at the scene of the fire in Bell Township, Clearfield County say they had difficulty getting water to the fire and fighting flames in a remodeled part of the home.

WJAC-TV (http://bit.ly/Kc9nSr ) reports a woman found inside the home was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman's name was not released. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
