Arizona Coyotes recall goalie Mike McKenna, send 4 players to Portland of AHL

GLENDALE, Arizona — The Arizona Coyotes have recalled goalie Mike McKenna from Portland and assigned four players to their AHL affiliate.

Defensemen Brandon Gormley and Philip Samuelsson, forward Lucas Lessio and goalie Mike Lee were assigned to Portland.

McKenna went 16-13-2 with a 2.09 goals-against average and .934 saves percentage in 22 games with the Pirates.

Gormley had two goals and an assist in 15 games with the Coyotes, while Lessio had a goal and an assist in nine games.

Samuelsson appeared in four games with Arizona, with a goal and two assists.

Lee went 1-3-1 with a 2.98 goals-against average in five games with Gwinnett of the ECHL.
