WEST PAWLET, Vermont — Two fires have struck residences in Vermont overnight.
The Red Cross says in West Pawlet, a family of eight, including four children ages 2 to 7, lost everything to a house fire.
A fire also struck a four-unit apartment building in Brattleboro. Two of the units were occupied; all five residents affected escaped and were given assistance.
There was no immediate word of injuries.
