LARAMIE, Wyoming — Wyoming's football opponents for the 2016 season have been set.

As has been the case since the Mountain West went to a divisional format for football in 2013, each team will play all five opponents in its own conference division and will play three conference opponents from the league's other division.

In 2016, Wyoming will host Air Force, Boise State, Utah State and San Diego State. Wyoming will travel to Colorado State, New Mexico, Nevada and UNLV.

Dates of conference games will be announced later.

The Cowboys kick off the 2016 season Sept. 3 hosting Northern Illinois. The Cowboys will travel to Nebraska on Sept. 10, followed by a home contest against UC Davis. The Pokes travel to Eastern Michigan on Sept. 24.
