Authorities: Death of woman, 57, found last month in Rochester ruled a homicide

ROCHESTER, New York — The death of a woman found dead by a passerby in western New York has been ruled a homicide.

The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports (http://on.rocne.ws/1G4zmvI ) the Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office issued the ruling Tuesday.

Authorities say 57-year-old Gail Neals was found dead on May 7 near Skuse Street in Rochester.

Police didn't disclose any more details about the death.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday for the Rochester resident.
