Birmingham police investigate killing of man in city's Inglenook area

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — Birmingham police are investigating the killing of a man in the city's Inglenook area.

Police say the man was standing outside a home when a car pulled up and someone inside it fired gunshots.

WBRC-TV reports (http://bit.ly/16ST27s) that the man was shot in the head, and that his body was in the street when police arrived around 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The man's name was not immediately released, and few other details were immediately available.
