Vicksburg kidnapping, robbery case being presented to Warren Co. grand jury

VICKSBURG, Mississippi — Prosecutors say the case of three people accused of kidnapping and robbing a 76-year-old Vicksburg man is being presented to a Warren County grand jury that convened this week in Vicksburg.

The Vicksburg Post reports (http://bit.ly/ZUBFhc ) Lance Burton, Kodey Goulette and Misty Lee are each charged with armed robbery and kidnapping.

The Vicksburg man was robbed man at gunpoint last September in the parking lot between Rainbow Casino and AmeriHost Inn, both are now owned by Lady Luck.

Police say the man was robbed of $190 and was forced to drive to an ATM and withdraw $250. The man was released unharmed at a convenience store and reported the incident to police.

District Attorney Ricky Smith says the grand jury will review about 100 criminal cases this session.
