WATERLOO, Iowa — Police say the body found between two sheds in a Waterloo yard is that of a man who fled from a hospital three weeks ago.

The Waterloo Police Department says officers responded Wednesday to a report that someone had discovered a man's body in their backyard. Capt. Dave Mohlis says the man has been identified as 25-year-old Prince Joshua Flomo, of Waterloo.

Police say Flomo was listed as a missing person after walking barefoot from Covenant Medical Center on Feb. 22 wearing only a hospital gown and robe.

KWWL-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1FbraJj ) that the cause of death was determined to be exposure to cold temperatures, as the low temperature the night of Flomo's disappearance was minus-6 degrees.
