A man has been found shot to death in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, South Carolina — Police say a man has been shot to death at a home in North Charleston.

The Charleston County coroner's office said Sunday the victim was 34-year-old Donell Benjamin of North Charleston.

Police spokesman Spencer Pryor told local media outlets that officers were called to a home around 4 a.m. Saturday.

Pryor says Benjamin ran into a home through a back door and collapsed on the floor, where he died.

Pryor says officers are still trying to determine where Benjamin was shot and his relationship to the house where he was found. No arrests have been reported.
