FAIRBANKS, Alaska — Fairbanks police are asking for help finding a 33-year-old man suspected of involvement in a weekend shooting.
Police say they want to contact Harold N. Colby, who's suspected of firing a handgun Friday night that wounded an acquaintance in the thigh.
No charges have been filed in the case.
Police Lt. Matt Soden tells the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner that the shooting took place during an argument.
A bullet passed through the leg of the injured man, who is also in his 30s, and was recovered at an apartment in the 1600 block of 24th Avenue.
The wounded man refused an ambulance ride to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital and was driven to the hospital by his girlfriend.
