NEW ALBANY, Indiana — Demolition crews have torn down what remained of a well-known southern Indiana restaurant that was badly damaged in a large fire in December.
Crews used heavy equipment on Thursday to tear down the walls that were left standing from Sam's Food & Spirits in New Albany.
The fire broke out after the restaurant had closed Dec. 9, sending flames high through the roof.
Owner Sam Anderson tells the News and Tribune (http://bit.ly/1pD09pT ) he's still not sure whether he'll rebuild at the same location.
He has expanded service at the restaurant's location in nearby Clarksville that had previously only been used for special events and catering.
