BRATTLEBORO, Vt. — Police say a driver is accused of intentionally hitting a pedestrian in Vermont.
Brattleboro Sgt. Robert Perkins calls the incident an assault.
The Brattleboro Reformer (http://bit.ly/IgsWII) reports two men got into an argument Sunday night at a restaurant. One man left on foot and the other followed in a pickup truck, striking the man and knocking out a fire hydrant. Police caught up with the driver after a brief chase.
Perkins said 42-year-old Shawn Therieau of Brattleboro was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
