6 more arrested in Houlton meth probe; charged with supplying materials, helping make drug

HOULTON, Maine — An investigation into a methamphetamine manufacturing operation inside a Houlton apartment house has resulted in six more arrests.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, working with Houlton Police and the Aroostook County Sheriff's Office, announced the arrests Monday. Those arrested included four men and two woman and they ranged in age from 21 to 59.

The arrests come on the heels of the arrest of a 48-year-old resident of the building on June 17 on a charge of trafficking in methamphetamine.

The six people arrested are charged with supplying materials or helping cook the meth. They are charged with trafficking.
