Wyoming coach Joe Legerski signs players from Kansas, Washington and Nebraska


LARAMIE, Wyoming — Wyoming coach Joe Legerski has signed three new Cowgirls.

The three are: 6-foot guard/forward Daley Handy, of Wichita, Kansas; 6-2 forward Coreen Labish, of Spokane, Washington; and 6-2 forward Rachelle Tucker, of Pierce, Nebraska.

Handy is a four-time letterwinner at Maize High School. As a junior, she averaged 10 points, 5.2 rebounds and four assists a game.

Labish is a four-year letterwinner in basketball while attending Cheney and Mead High Schools. In her junior year, she averaged 8.5 points, six rebounds and two blocks.

And Tucker is a two-time All-Area and All-Conference selection while attending Pierce High School. No statistics were provided for Tucker's junior season.
