BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Nick Kellogg scored 25 points, making 8 of 13 field goal attempts, to lead Ohio to a 72-61 win over Bowling Green Tuesday night.
Ohio held a 33-21 halftime advantage and opened the second half with a 13-8 run to pull ahead 46-29. Bowling Green closed to 65-58 following an Anthony Henderson dunk with 1:27 remaining but Kellogg responded with a three-point play to seal the victory.
Ohio shot 57.8 percent from the field, making 26 of 45 attempts. The Bobcats shot 68.4 percent in the second half.
Henderson had 12 points and five steals and Spencer Parker added 11 points for Bowling Green (12-18, 6-11).
Ohio currently holds the No. 5 seed for the conference tournament, one game behind Akron.
