Girl, 4, dies in house fire in Duncanville; no other injuries reported in Saturday blaze

DUNCANVILLE, Alabama — Authorities say a 4-year-old girl has died in a house fire in the west Alabama town of Duncanville.

The Tuscaloosa News reports (http://bit.ly/1z2nQ0A) that the house on Old Marion Road was already engulfed in flames when firefighters and deputies responded to the blaze around 4:40 a.m. Saturday.

Tuscaloosa County sheriff's Sgt. Alex Miles said in a statement that no foul play is suspected, and no other injuries were reported.

The girl's name was not immediately released.

The cause of the fire was being investigated by the Alabama State Fire Marshal's Office.

Duncanville is about 12 miles southeast of Tuscaloosa.
