Coach Gregg Popovich put the Argentinian on the inactive list at Indiana. It's the second night of a back-to-back and Popovich sometimes give his veterans extra rest during the season. Ginobili is not listed on the injury report.

Forward Tiago Splitter also will start the game on the bench. Though Splitter is active, Matt Bonner will start in Splitter's normal spot.

The Spurs (32-19) are on the second game of a nine-game road trip, and Popovich is trying to win his 1,000th regular-season game in his home state against the Pacers.
