Grain mixed, livestock lower


CHICAGO — Grain futures were mixed Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was 6 cents lower at $4.9175 a bushel; March corn was 2.25 cents lower at $3.7075 a bushel; March oats were 5.5 cents higher at $2.33 a bushel; while January soybeans gained 1.25 cents to 8.6550 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle was 1.5 cents lower at $1.3270 a pound; January feeder cattle was .80 cent lower at $1.6460 a pound; February lean hogs lost .17 cent to $.5810 a pound.
