WARWICK, Rhode Island — The number of passengers at T.F. Green Airport was 11 percent higher in October than a year ago, the eighth straight month the airport has posted a better performance over the year.
The Rhode Island Airport Corp. said this week that 334,587 passengers traveled through Rhode Island's main airport in October. Last October, 301,463 people used the facility.
February was the last month the number of passengers declined compared to a year earlier.
Overall, 3.2 million people have passed through the airport this year, compared with 3.07 million people in 2012. That represents an increase of more than 4 percent.
People who make round trips are counted twice in the statistics.
