LIRR: Riders should expect residual delays this evening during repairs to tack condition

NEW YORK — The Long Island Rail Road says riders should expect residual delays as workers repair a track condition east of the East River tunnels.

The railroad says westbound service has been restored between Jamaica and Penn Station and Woodside and Penn Station on the Port Washington Branch.

New York City Transit is honoring LIRR fares on the E subway in Jamaica and the 7 subway train at Woodside.
