INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana will invest more than $20 million over the next three years in the cities of Delphi and Princeton.
Lt. Governor Becky Skillman announced Thursday the two communities have been selected as Stellar Communities by state agencies including the Department of Transportation and the Office of Community and Rural Affairs. Forty communities applied.

Each of the cities will invest an additional $7 million in local and private funds.
Delphi's plan includes revitalizing its downtown business district, increasing tourism to the Wabash and Erie Canal Park and restoring the Delphi Opera House.
Princeton officials also will develop their downtown area. They plan to create senior housing cottages, provide easier access by seniors to the downtown and rehabilitate historic buildings.
Greencastle and North Vernon were chosen last year.
