OXFORD, Mississippi — A woman is dead following a mobile home fire on Thanksgiving Day southeast of Oxford.
Lafayette County Coroner Rocky Kennedy tells WTVA-TV in Tupelo (http://bit.ly/1goFmkv ) that a 22-year-old woman died in the fire on as county roads near the Yocona community. Her name has not been released.
Kennedy says the woman's body has been sent to Jackson for an autopsy.
He says others in the mobile home at the time of the fire were able to escape.
